💡 Interesting Facts
- • Females are generally larger and display a much deeper, more solid red coloration than males.
- • They carry their eggs underneath their abdomen for about 3-4 weeks before releasing fully formed miniature shrimp.
- • Unlike many fish, Neocaridina shrimp do not eat their own young if adequately fed and provided with hiding spots.
- • Their coloration can temporarily fade during shipping due to stress, but will return brightly once settled.
