Keeping Monte Carlo
Portion and planting
The supplied cup, pot or loose portion is awaiting confirmation. Divide an appropriate purchased portion into small plugs, remove growing medium as directed for its form, and plant with spaces for spreading roots and shoots.
Growth, light and CO₂
Moderate to strong light and added CO₂ help develop a compact carpet. It can survive less intensive conditions, but spreading and density vary. Trim growth before it becomes a thick lifting mat; a mature carpet is not implied by a pack name.

Arrival and support
Prepare a mature aquarium and check its temperature and water chemistry before arrival. Ask us for transfer guidance suited to your water and transit conditions; do not apply a fixed acclimation time to every shipment. Keep shipping water out of the aquarium.
