Keeping Rummy-nose Tetra
Adult size and space
Approximately 4–5 cm standard length. Plan a tank of at least 60–80 cm length to accommodate their energetic, synchronized swimming.
Group and water
Keep 8–10 or more. Reference range: 24–28°C; pH 5.5–7.0; 2–10 dGH. Thrives in clean, stable, well-filtered water.
Feeding and compatibility
Accepts flakes, micro-pellets, daphnia, and bloodworms. Extremely peaceful schooling fish for planted community aquariums.

Arrival and support
Prepare a mature aquarium and check its temperature and water chemistry before arrival. Ask us for transfer guidance suited to your water and transit conditions; do not apply a fixed acclimation time to every shipment. Keep shipping water out of the aquarium.
