Keeping Peppered Corydoras
Adult size and space
Approximately 7 cm standard length. Plan a tank base of 61 × 38 cm (about 70 litres with a 30 cm water height). Adult reference size is not sale size.
Group and water
Keep at least six. Reference range: 22–26°C; pH 6.0–7.0; up to 12 dGH. Stability matters; do not force sudden changes to reach an extreme of a reference range.
Feeding and compatibility
Give dedicated sinking foods and live or frozen variety. Keep sand or smooth substrate clean; avoid aggressive companions and sudden temperature changes. Tiny shrimplets may be eaten; planted cover reduces exposure but is not a guarantee.
Before ordering
Confirm current sale size, sex or grade if relevant, and the supplied portion for plants. Photos and illustrations do not establish the size or appearance of the animals or plants currently available. Breeding origin and supplier quarantine records have not been verified for this batch.
Arrival and support
Prepare a mature aquarium and check its temperature and water chemistry before arrival. Ask us for transfer guidance suited to your water and transit conditions; do not apply a fixed acclimation time to every shipment. Keep shipping water out of the aquarium.
Read the shipping and DOA policy before opening shipping bags. Physical returns are not accepted; eligible DOA claims are handled separately. Contact hello@nanoaquatics.in for confirmation.
Species references: Reference 1. Care ranges describe the species, not measured supplier holding conditions.
